Location: 820 E. Terra Cotta Avenue; Suite 234 Details: Individual and group MNT (medical nutrition therapy) available for people with all stages of diabetes and pre-dialysis kidney disease. Celiac diet instruction also available. Three sessions generally scheduled. The first 90 minute session includes diabetes assessment and initial planning of diet, glucose monitoring, % body fat and activity. Follow-up 30 minute session includes review of records and "tweaking" the diet. Four month follow-up includes reassessment of lab values, weight, %body fat, glucose and diet.
